Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Fast-food restaurants like Pizza Hut are not recommended to dine-in if you are diagnosed with high blood pressure. High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Great for the price! There are better brick oven pizzerias in Salt Lake but we were really impressed that we were able to feed my husband, myself, and my two young children for $27 - which included three pizzas and an antipasto platter. The service was really good, the environment was fine for casual dining, and the prices were extremely reasonable. The pizzas and antipasto had a lot of creative options but were lacking in high quality ingredients - which is okay because of the reasonable price.

I would give them 5 stars, but we always have to stalk tables for a parmesan shaker. Is it really that hard to splurge a few dollars for some more shakers?? Otherwise, food is good. Sometimes they can be a little slow.

I've eaten here a couple times during my lunch break with co-workers. While we all seem to have a different opinion, here's mine. This place is cool, I like the environment, layout, etc... Very casual. Great for lunch or probably a quick bite before a movie on a casual date, nothing fancy. The pizza oven is impressive, as well their options for toppings. However, as a pizza guy, this place seems to be more for the lighter, more feminine pizza connoisseur... (Ladies don't get offended), but as a guy who loves pizza with meat and more meat, with a side of jalapenos, I don't care for Pears and spinach leafs on a super thin crusted pizza. Just doesn't fulfill my appetite. Would I eat there again? Yes. Enjoy!

Ordered food to go and it was a bit on the pricey side - comparable to Cafe Rio. Pizzas were good, salad was ok. Service was prompt and *mostly* friendly. I really enjoyed the Pera pizza, I recommend it! The crust was also super good, not crunchy (how I like it) and the toppings blended nicely. When I come back, I'll just stick to the pizzas. They're a bit better than Pizza Studio down the street, especially the crust, and the price is comparable. They don't have any pesto based sauce (as opposed to Marinara/Tomato sauce) and that is a bit of a bummer (even for the attendant, she seemed really frustrated she couldn't offer the pesto sauce - maybe she gets that question a lot!), so just for that, I'll split my pizza cravings between this place and Pizza Studio! :)

Gotta bump this place up a notch. Yeah, I know it's not authentic NY-style thin crust pizza, yada yada yada, but the crust is just too good to not award this place five stars. For me, it's all about the crust. My go-to's are definitely the Pera and the off-the-menu Ferrari. I pretty much love them both. Also, on occasion, I'll just skip the red sauce on certain pies and go with an olive oil base. Granted, it makes the it more cheesy bread than pizza, but it's amazing nonetheless - because of the crust! And those lemon brownies? Don't even get me started...

    (5)
  • Nicole P.

Great flatbread pizza for the price. And I love the creative options. You can get pizza on it with lemons! My favorite is the one that has blackberries. And I am a total sucker for lemon desserts and I love the lemon brownies. Every time I come in the service is friendly and nice.

Would ordinarily give this place 4 stars, but the pizza of the month is bad. "Maple syrup drizzle" was overpowering and gross.

I have been in a rut with negative reviews lately so I am happy to report a positive one. I have been to pizzeria Limone more times than I can count, due to my families especially my extended family's affinity for the restaurant. Overall, every experience has been a positive one. I've tried almost every pizza on the menu as well as all of the salads and I'm happy to report I pretty much enjoy all of them except for their pepperoni. Tonight, I tried the Luce salad and the Bongiorno (spelling?) pizza. Both of which I was very happy with and glad they've added them to their menu. I highly recommend the pera, verdure, and the Italiano salad. If I were to make one request, it would be for them to change who they use for their pepperoni it is not to my liking (but I may be in the minority).

Having been to this location of Pizzeria Limone many time, I almost forgotten I never wrote anything down for this place. They are located at a convenience location on Fort Union, and you cannot miss them driving eastbound. Parking can be packed during weekend, I recall seeing the back alley being full as well. From the classic stuff like cheese and pepperoni, they got plenty of pizza with modernize pizzeria concepts. Salsiccia is still my favorite of all with a nice balance of meat and veggie, and Viola was probably second with acidic touch from black berries. Kids get choice between Formaggi with four types of cheese and Pepperoni at a discounted price, but still look like an adult size pizza. Capra was ok, and I guess I was not a fan of goat cheese. Aside from pizza, freestyle coke machine is best thing ever happened here. All my kids absolutely adore this place, and even the wife who does not enjoy eating pizza much likes this place too.

In an effort to try something new on a night where I didn't have kids to complain, my husband and I tried Pizzeria Limone. I am happy to report that we were not disappointed. This place offers a variety of fresh and delicious pizzas with unique flavor combinations. We ordered two pizzas but easily could have shared one if we had been able to agree on what flavor we wanted to try. We also ordered the Zuppa, minus the pistachios as I wasn't feeling up to a massive allergic reaction. I wanted the Caprese pizza which was covered in fresh tomatoes and basil. The balsamic reduction on it was perfect! It also had red onions which I though was a nice touch. My husband liked the flavor but thought it was too soggy. I didn't mind the texture as I thought it held up really well. My husband ordered the Salsiccia pizza with the house blended sausage. And when you get the perfect bite of meat, tomato, basil, and olive...this thing was amazing! They don't over sauce it so the toppings really get to be the star. And the Zuppa was so delicious! It comes with some toasted bread and is topped with cheese and creme and it is one of the best tomato soups I have ever had. The fire roasted tomatoes gave it the most amazing flavor. It was pretty fairly priced at about $8 per pizza. Very casual atmosphere. Next time I will be brave and order the Viola which has blackberries and prosciutto. If I could give this 4 & 1/2 out of 5 I would as it was near perfect. We will definitely be back.

Good flatbread pizzas and salads. For a lunch place, it's hard to beat!

They added cubed mozzarella cheese to my tailored Capra pizza which made it even better! The cashier told me about a promotion at their new downtown location. An employee stopped by our table several times to ask how things were, to clear our table, and to offer advice on food selections.

This place is great and quick! I like the originality of the pizzas. Pistachios and prosciutto?? Berries? It's all good!! The lemon brownie is also very unique. Easily could share a pizza even though it's a thin crust.

  • Howie O.

I eat here a good bit and love it. I have eaten almost every pizza on the menu and you pretty can't go wrong. The pizza is flat bread oven type so if you don't like a few crispy parts to your pizza go home and eat a tombstone.

My pizza was crap. The bottom was covered in flower and was burnt. They don't know what they are doing. Waste of money

First and last time coming here. Service was very friendly but food was just mediocre to me. There are way too many yummy places to eat to come back here again.

    (2)
  • Neil G.

I must say that pizzas are pretty good...especially the crust, perfectly chewy and crispy. What im unhappy with at times is how cheap they can be with toppings. I always order the verdure with chicken and this time the guy threw like 4 pieces of mushrooms on there amongst other limited toppings. Seriously? Does it really hurt the bottom line that much to add one more spinach leaf etc? Not a great value if you eat there regularly but sometimes if you get the itch. ...

  • Lance H.

The pizzas were delicious but here is the reason for the two stars.... 1. I watched them box my pizzas and put them in the back while waiting in the takeout line. It too the super slow cashier 15 minutes to process the 3 other people in front of me. Way too slow of cashier. There was no sense of expediting things. 2. The messed up the phone in order in two ways. They didn't include a soup. They read off the receipt of what I was supposed to get for the pizzas, but one of the pizzas in the stack was different than what we ordered. I would go back for the food, but if the cashier was slow again and messed up the order again, then I would let the manager know. The pizza as 4 stars, but the service was 1 star.

I recently spent 5 days in Salt Lake City on Business - while I don't usually write reviews on businesses that I haven't visited at least 2 or 3 times, since it's doubtful I'll be back (or if so that I'll hit the same restaurant) I thought I would provide some general opinions. Pizzeria Limone appears to be part of a chain - similar to the Atlanta local "Uncle Maddio's", it's basic concept is rather like a Subway for pizza. You order directly from someone building your pie and then pay as a final step - the pizza (and salad if you ordered one) is delivered to your number, otherwise there is no wait service. In general Limone was very tasty - I had some pie (don't recall the name) that included 5 cheeses, kalamata olives, red onion and some sausage. All the ingredients were fresh and the pie dough was very tasty. My only complaint was that the crust was limp and slightly undercooked. It could have used one more minute or a hotter oven. If you're slice is wet and flopping over it's not pizza - period. I also ordered a Caesar salad which was very good - lemony base with wide cheese shavings. The prices seem to be good (about $9 for the pie) and it was delivered quick - I'd probably try it again if I lived or worked in the area as it seems a good place for lunch. With a salad and drink around $15. If it were possible, I would give this place 3.5 stars - the half-star was deducted due to the under-baked crust. I really liked the décor of this place - it's got navy-chair knock-off seating (welded steel instead of aluminum but a similar look) and reclaimed lumber table-tops. Sort of semi-industrial trendy but the look works with any counter-order restaurant. Both the pizzarista (I just made that up!) and the pretty girl behind the register were very friendly.

High quality, fresh ingredients make this one awesome pizza place. The quality ingredients are displayed where you can easily see them as they make your pizza. It is easy to see the quality and freshness here, by contrast the competitor up the streets ingredients are precooked and lack flavor. The prices are good, and the service fast and friendly. My favorite pizza is the Ferrari with oil and garlic instead of marinara.

  • Ari C.

It blows my mind how a place so casual and seemingly chain, can make such a great pizza. Light, not super greasy. Delicious.

    (5)
  • Don B.

For everyone from California, this place is a carbon copy of pieology pizza. The ingredients taste fresh and high quality. I would give 5 stars if they had more meat selection, most of the pizzas have no meat. Ask for a Ferrari, it has all the meat they offer.

    (4)
  • S S.

I ordered the Salsiccia pizza ~very flavorful the crispy thin crust I have to say the best crust I have ever had. The toppings were amazing I had to give it 4 stars instead of 5 because I was disappointed they were so scrimpy on the toppings.

    (4)
  • Craig F.

Pizza was good. Pepperoni was too mild for me. Margherita was very boring. I could not even taste the basil. The Limone was my favorite tasting of the three. Very lemony, which I like. At this price point should the lemon slices have lemon seeds not removed? If I go back here I would try the blackberry. I think this is the place to try the weird pizza combos, not the normal.

    (3)
  • Chelsea G.

I love this place. Good food all of the time. I would of given it 5 stars, but the service is lacking some of the time. If you go when they are the busiest and they are short staffed they tend to get behind. Other than that the pizza is always yummy. The salads are awesome. I have never been disappointed in the quality of the food.

I've only been here once with my husband so far. What we had was delicious and the service was great. Just a little pricey for pizza. But the flavors here are interesting if you are looking for something new to try.

  • Ana C.

Delicious and fresh, love that they use such good quality and fresh ingredients. The pizzas and salads are fabulous, not a bad thing on the menu. Very well priced. Casual walk through ordering with lots of open seating. Crust was thin and crisp with the right amount of char. The gelato is also very good. It's frozen solid so order with your food. By the time you are done with your meal it will be perfect!

I come here on a regularly and always get my order to go. At one time the service was prompt and the pizzas very good. Disappointingly, the quality of service has declined to the point where I am less likely to come here. The entire process seems very disorganized.

Decided to try this place as we wanted something local, and we were mainly looking along Fort Union Blvd which is mostly chain restaurants. And I was in the mood for pizza. So decided to give this place try. Pizza looked and smelled good, and the menu was a little high end I thought for an "order at the counter" place, but luckily you can order a custom pizza - you're not restricted to the menu. The menu selections are more what you would find at Sammy's Woodfired or California Pizza Kitchen - sit down places; but I would say they're just as tasty. As a warning, the kids pizza is the same size as a regular pizza, so for 2 adults and 1 child, we ended up ordering 1 kids pizza, and 1 regular pizza (pepperoni and mushroom), and that fed all 3 of us pretty well. I was really disappointed in the service however. We ordered the kids pizza first, which went into the oven first, then our pepp/mush pizza. They brought our pepperoni/mushroom pizza out to us first, and didn't say anything about the kids pizza we had ordered. I went up to the counter, and it took a good 4-5 minutes to get someone's attention - seemed like all the counter workers were socializing. When I asked about the kids pizza we had ordered, I wasn't given any explanation, just that it would be out in a couple of minutes. So, we had to wait an additional 2-3 minutes for the kids pizza while the adult's pizza got cold (and our little one would have actually preferred the cold pizza, not the fresh out of the oven one). So, overall, good pizza, but service really needs to improve before I'll be back again.

  • Ashley J.

Amazing pizza! I love the variety of toppings. Our favorites are the Pera and Salsiccia. They also do a good pepperoni for the kids and less adventurous adult. They recently added a dessert pizza to the menu and it is to die for. Chocolate and pizza! Need I say more?

This is basically the Cafe Rio of pizza, with one difference, I will actually go here. I like that the pizza's are wood-fired, and there is a good amount of crisp and charcoal to them when they arrive at your table. They're fast, and it is fast-food pizza, but it's not like grabbing a piece of cardboard with sauce on it from Little Caesar's - it does taste the way pizza should taste. It's made close to traditional italian style, thin crust, and the toppings are not excessive. The Pera is a personal favourite, the taste of pear and pistachio on a pizza is amazing, and it's light enough to not make you feel like you've eaten too much, even if you do manage to devour a pizza all by yourself. Limone is also cheap, especially if you have kids, as the kid sized pizzas are basically the same size as a standard pizza, just at half the price, and come in pepperoni or cheese. There's also a freestyle coke machine for the young - or young at heart, and a full selection of San Pellegrino for those of us who like to say "Pompelmo" or "Aranciata." Pizzeria Limone is not going to win any amazing dining awards, and it still pales in comparison with the likes of Nuch's and Settebello, but if you are looking for something fast and tasty, it won't leave you disappointed.

  • Rob F.

Ok this place rocks! If you like Settebello in downtown Salt Lake this place is for you. It doesn't have the atmosphere of a Settebello but that of a Chipotle. I come here for the reasonably priced pizza and the quick service. I also come for the great pizza. A fun variety of pizza that is very artisanal. I never thought that black berries or pears would be good on a pizza but here it is amazing. The pizza combinations are unique and delicious. When it's not busy you can get your pizza in 5 minutes. They also have a Coke Freestyle machine which is always a plus. I also get a kick out of the music. One minute it's an Italian aria sung by Pavarotti then some pop song by Britney Spears. It's a great place to get a great pizza and quickly. Enjoy!

At $9 it is tough to find a better pizza. A good lunch spot option when you want something quick, good, and less expensive then its pricier and more conventional Neapolitan cousins.

  • Chris B.

There are very few places that can make a good pizza and this place is one of them. Their menu is short but have full of flavor and very different combinations that you wouldn't normally get from a big chain pizza For example the one I had had crushed pistachio and pears. Sweet and crunchy all baked in the open oven. Highly recommend this place for anyone!!!!

We have been coming here from the first day they were open.. At first we were blown away by the quality and service. We had a terrible experience about a year ago and just came back tonight to give them a other shot.. My wife has been waiting for 30 minutes for her insalata caprese and and it's still not here.. 30 minutes!! What a joke.. I wouldn't come back if they paid me... My question is where is the manager? Who is coaching these kids? It's a free for all in here..

  • Kate M.

Interesting concept. The pizza was good, though soggy, and I was glad we seemed to be there at the beginning of the rush, and not right in the thick of it. It's a little loud and the service is doing their best to keep up. Seemed like they needed maybe one or two people more to get things at a better pace. I especially like that everyone can get their own thing, if you know your party cannot decide on just one or two pies.

  • Lexi S.

Eh, it was just ok. Pizza in conception, is simplistic and it has and always will be about the ingredients. I did enjoy the dough, it was light and crisp. However, the marinara was not very good in my humble opinion. The hard salami was overly salty and that was about the only flavor profile going on there. Overall, it is not a place I would come back to. I know of too many others that are consistently lovely in their simplistic approach using high quality. I will say it's a great spot for families. The individual pizza and price point are nice ways to have everyone get their own favorite and not break the bank.

  • Jessica K.

The salad and pizza were great, made fresh to order, and the service was excellent -- very helpful. Although I felt like I was in a Pei Wei or something. You walk up and order from a counter, get a number, and grab your own drink.

NOTE: 2 stars based off the pizzas I selected and not the service itself, I'll have to give this place another try and re-review! I heard about this place from one of my professors, there were decent Yelp reviews so I decided to give this place a visit. When you come in, you'll find the menu posted on the wall. We figured, since we were visiting Pizzeria Limone, it would only be fitting to get the Limone pizza! Along with that we got the Viola pizza- both of which were different from a traditional pizza since the Limone has thin lemon slices on them (amongst other toppings) and the Viola had black berries. They take the orders off of an iPad and make the large personal sized pizzas fresh to order. The pizza didn't take long to come out. I didn't try any of the Limone pizza but according to my boyfriend he found it to be too lemon-y, Viola was good but the mushed blackberries caused it to be on the soggy side. Service was great and the food tasted good (for the most part). I will give this place another try but definitely will be ordering something else- that doesn't contain fruits! I did enjoy how I didn't get that heavy pizza feeling after eating, and I think that was due to the olive oil used to dress the pizza.

The caprese pizza was good. But I can make better for a lot cheaper. They also didn't have as many options/variety of pizzas.

Great pizza and the perfect place to take the kids out to dinner. Top notch ingredients and wood fired. Love the pizzas but I am absolutely obsessed with the italian salad that is jam packed with beans, cheese, beets and sausage.

Great modern pizzeria! Great personalized pizzas with unique flavors and ingredients. Decently priced with an amazing atmosphere. Try the viola! Loved the blackberries!

Really impressed with Pizzeria Limone, great service, atmosphere, selection and quality of food. I had a staple, the caprese pizza, and will definitely be getting it again. The atmosphere is modern, trendy but casual. Good for kids. The lemon brownie is also delicious.

I'll definitely be back. Interesting use of toppings and combinations of flavors. Pears, prosciutto and pistachios on the same pizza was not something I expected, and it worked very well. Its been a while since I've eaten something that interesting. Also, the prices are surprisingly good; two people can fill up under $20. Looking forward to going back and trying the rest of their menu.

Hungry for pizza tonight we decided to try Pizzeria Limone in Fort Union. I noticed it had opened recently since I work just up the street but hadn't had the chance to try it yet. Inside Pizzeria Limone has a contemporary look with ample amounts of stainless steel throughout including the tables and chairs, modern light fixtures, cool tile work, and a subdued color palette. Of course the real attraction is the pizza... Pizzeria Limone is like Cafe Rio for pizza. When you enter the restaurant you walk into the queue where friendly employees ask what you'd like and then prepare your pizza as you wait. If you'd like more cheese or some extra sausage, just ask and then'll add it right then and there. Once your pizza is prepared to your liking it enters a rotating oven where it is baked to perfection and ready for you by the time you reach the cash register. Grab some drinks, maybe a salad, a gelato for desert and you're set. I ordered the pepperoni, wanting something simple tonight and Kimberly opted for something more elaborate featuring lots of veggies and some pepperoni for good measure. Within minutes our pizzas were ready and served up for our hungry stomachs. The foundation of any good pizza is the crust and I've been disappointed many times by less than great crusts. Much to my delight Pizzeria Limone doesn't disappoint in this category. The crust was great! As it turns out, the owner of Pizzeria Limone is a baker by trade and operated a popular chain of bakeries in the 1990s. The excellent quality and taste of the crust at Pizzeria Limone speaks to this heritage. Complimenting the great crust, all of the other ingredients on our pizzas were similarly excellent, fresh and with excellent flavor. For desert we had chocolate and raspberry gelato, both of which were excellent. Although Salt Lake City has no lack of pizza establishments Pizzeria Limone sets itself apart with great food served up in a unique way (unique for pizza anyway.) I think they are going to do very well in Salt Lake and I look forward to dining here again. Thanks for a great meal.

When my wife and I first visited Pizzeria Limone, we had an awful experience as far as the service was concerned. At the insistence of a couple other Yelpers, we finally decided to return and try it a few more times. Upon first impression, this place seems similar to Pieology (an *awesome* pizza joint in Fullerton, CA), which is essentially an Americanized version of Settebello in downtown Salt Lake City. We have now tried three or four of the pizza options here. The ingredients are top-notch, fresh and always very tasty. The thin crust pizzas are flash cooked, which generally means they are ready quickly. Overall, this place doesn't match my experiences at Pieology. Furthermore, it lacks the Italian authenticity of Settebello. But despite that, this is still a great place for a quick, tasty pizza. If you're in the area, I think you should give it a try. (And if you like it, I strongly urge you to head downtown and try Settebello!)

Fantastic food, love the PERA pizza. Have gone back several times. Will surely be returning in the future. Wish there was a bit more seating, gets crowded.

I feel like I'm actually rating their service more than anything. HOW are they so disorganized? It seems they should have it all worked out by now. I just made it to Pizzeria Limone today for the first time and I will say that I will return for their salad, but their pizza is meh. And the service is UNREAL bad... so unreal that the manager was chatting with his people with his iPad like he had super important things to do with his staff. Which is all lovely when you are CLOSED... or when no one is there waiting! I just read through the Salt Lake Tribune's write up. We had the exact same thing happen to us today. They had gloves on, but were doing all sorts of business with the same gloves. You cannot take money and credit cards and continue wearing the same gloves. I'm just amazed by people who do this. While their pizza crust wasn't bad, it just lacked quite a lot. I truly think if these guys don't get their service worded out it won't be around for long. People just cannot wait that long to get lunch. There were 4 people behind the counter and we were only the 2nd customers in the whole place (not good either) and it still took ages to get waited on (like at a Chipotle) . Some guy behind the counter kept saying "we'll be right with you" as he was doing other things and talking to the big guy with the iPad. It just seemed very strange. I think if they had a good manager that cared about service, things would fall into place better. They have a decent product but the staff sucks including the manager that made NO eye contact with any of us. And if this was an owner instead of a manager, that is even worse. The people IN FRONT of you are the important ones. Not the ones calling in for "to go" orders... and not what other business that you should be taking care of at other times. The people in front of you are the ones that will write reviews.

I love pizza so I was excited when some friends decided on Pizzeria Limone as the pot for a surprise birthday get together. I like that these are individual pizzas because me and my wife are opposites when it comes to what toppings we like. Plus she doesn't eat meat and I love it, bring on the meaty pizza goodness. I was a little confused if I should stand there while they made it or just go but they handed me a little ticket so i headed to the register to pay. I really appreciate the ticket. It's annoying to be asked a million times what you ordered by the time you get to the register. The pizza was really good. The portion was just right for one person and the crust was delicious.

  • Nate W.

The pizzas are good for sure, and the antipasto is tasty. The one thing I can't stand about this place is the service. The employees who took my order last night seemed like I was ruining their lives because I was there. It was 9:00, and I'm sure they were tired but.... Also, the line moves at a glacial pace. I know pizzas take a little while to cool. But why does it take SO long to just take people's orders and pay? So annoying!

I'm really proud of my fellow yelpers for totally nailing this place in the reviews. I mean, as always YMMV but I've heard it described as a fast and casual Settebello and the Cafe Rio of pizza. Perfect. (If you're not familiar with either of those references, just know that it's a fast, casual, order at the counter and make your way down, Napolitana-style pizza place. Hot oven. Thin(ish) crust. PL is slick. Slick logo. Slick menu. Slick and sexy interior. I mean, I actually really like the interior. I love that there are a few communal tables along with more private ones. It's incredibly stylish but so simple in the decor. One small beverage machine (the kind with a touch-screen and lots of beverages available, sold for $1.85). Everyone's in uniform and they were moving pretty well today. We had the special--a pear pizza. That's one thing you'll notice right away, is that in addition to the classics you've got some really creative options (blackberries?) as well. Most pizzas will run you about 8 bucks, though they range from $7 to $10. They're not particularly large, so if you share you'll probably go hungry but if you get one yourself you might take a slice or two home. Most healthy eaters can probably finish their own. The pear pizza was pretty good. I like to err on the side of sparse toppings so the pizza doesn't get too weighed down, but even this was just a bit spartan for me. The Micro-thin pear slices were just the right idea, but I wanted to taste them more. The prosciutto, however, was applied with just the right weight. I also wanted more pistachio than the sprinkle in the middle. I get that it's a cost game, so I wasn't madly disappointed. Just giving feedback. I love oven-baked pizza of this style, but wished the crust had been a bit thinner. Again, though, this is all personal preference. I'm nitpicking here because there's so much to love at Pizzeria Limone and I really really want them to succeed. I'm pretty geeked about the place. Enough that I want to come back to try more of their flavors and get a better feel for what they're about. I really love the space and what the vibe, and the help (perhaps the owners--they looked pretty dedicated) was super smiley and nice.

This place makes good pizza. I stuck with one of their basic pizzas (the caprese) and it was tasty. Nice, fresh ingredients with a perfectly chewy crust. The service was pretty lacking, however. We had a group of 8 people, and a few in the group ordered their version of breadsticks with dipping sauce (which costs extra). The server brought out what she thought was an extra sauce on accident, and instead of just leaving it with the group she went back to verify that we were indeed entitled to it. Kind of weird for a $0.20 cup of sauce. Beware that adding extra toppings, sauces, etc, can really add up on your bill. I think they charge about $2 for each additional topping you order.

This is a gourmet individual pizza restaurant in case you didn't know. They run $8-$9 and $4 for kids under 12. Let's talk pizza now. Being fresh and made on the spot in a fire roasted oven means killer pizza's. My favorite is the Pera, Limone, and Margherita. The Insalata Caprese is very good for an appetizer to start. They have the touch screen fountain machine with many selections to choose from. Cool and casual ambiance in the dining room. Cash and cards accepted.

I really like Pizzeria Limone. I ate lunch there yesterday actually. It's my favorite pizza place. I almost always order the Caprese pizza as it's my favorite. I love the fresh sliced tomatoes and the balsamic glaze they drizzle over the top is great. I went to this place for the first time almost 2 years ago on referral of a friend who lived in the area and I am glad I listened. Now I will admit that this location is the first place I've seen these freestyle soda machines and I embarrassed myself by taking a video of it to show my BF. No one laughed at me which was a good thing. lol. I think the only thing I have ever tried from there that I didn't care for was the brownie. Something about chocolate ganache and lemon butter cream just don't sit well with me. I've hooked my boyfriend on this place too lol. Love the fire "grilled" pizza.

I have been here several times and the first time it was great, now today TERRIBLE. First of all, everyone that came in after us, got their food first. Not even every slice had a pepperoni and most of the slices didn't even have enough cheese it was terrible. Then their soda fountain broke after 12 minutes and 3 employees later they finally get it fixed and then its still not right the soda was coming out with more clear than dark... meaning they are out of syrup. Lets just say, they are going down hill and fast. I noticed the last few times there were tons of open parking spots and the first time we went we had to park around the corner... *sigh* very sad about this.

Lemon-flavored pizza?? You bet! I came here with my son after a day of riding at Snowbird, and ordered their titular dish, and it was amazing. It was just incredible the way the bitterness of the lemon peel played against the onion and the 5-cheese mix that they use on all of their pizzas. My son ordered pepperoni pizza without the cheese added (he's allergic to dairy), which he liked a lot. They also had what looked like a vintage Coke dispenser, and a great selection of flavored sodas by Pellegrino. I got two of the blood orange flavor. Best orange soda ever. Atmosphere reminds one of Chipotle, and prices are very reasonable for their individual-sized pies.

It's kinda like fast food, kinda. You walk up and order and with in a few minutes the pizza is ready. Made fresh to order with fresh ingredients. Kids pizza is the same size, but a few bucks less. We had the pep, cheese, and the caprese. All were worth it.

Wow! What a surprise. I absolutely love this concept - a geniune pizzeria with freshly-made wood-burned pizzas with some very unique toppings. There are no waiters or waitresses. They have the 'all-in-one' coke machine. The registers are ipads, and they have large wood tables where strangers share tables. But as novel as the concept is, it's still all about the food. They use incredibly fresh toppings and some unique combinations. My favorite is the voila, which features fresh proscuito, fresh mozarella, blackberries (yes, blackberries, but trust me - it's dang good). My wife had the verdura and a friend had the caprese - which had the best balsamic vinegar sauce. Very glad this place is close by and inexpensive.

Seriously underwhelming. With screaming children in abundance, the ambiance leaves something to be desired. Not to mention, the food itself was sorely disappointing. I shared the Caprese salad and Limone pizza with a friend. Meh. Bleh. Even though I live right around the corner, I will not be giving it a second go around. For the same price I'll order a pizza from The PIE and have it delivered to my house, or better yet, eat it there and wash it down with some icy cold 3.2.

Pizzeria Limone = Fast-Casual Setebello. I am somewhat amazed that they make each pizza to order... in a pizza oven... with fresh ingredients! Seems like there should be some lack-of-profit happening on their part but I won't argue! If you're just looking for good pizza, definitely go here over Setebello. It's cheaper and tastes almost the same. I ordered the special, which was Tomato Soup, and the Caprese Pizza. The soup was a little too spicy and not creamy enough for me. I didn't have more than a few spoonfuls. However, the bread that it comes with is salty heaven! It's almost like a pretzel because the salt is so obvious. The Caprese Pizza was good. The crust was perfect (no grease) and the balsamic vinegar made my taste buds happy. It was extremely messy, though. My hands were dripping with the balsamic vinegar. I wanted to try the Viola pizza but I chickened out. Apparently, it's the most-popular. Next time! The decor is nice but it looks a lot like Chipotle. Still, I like the modern theme.

I'll be honest I was disappointed. I had high hopes when I walked in, a very modern, clean place. I got the limone pizza and lemon brownie. I'm a big fan of lemon, but eating that pizza was like eating flat bread, a little cheese and a slice of lemon. I felt The lemon was over powering and didnt go Well with the rest of the flavors. The brownie was good, but it was small and was overpriced at $2. I unfortunately won't be going back.

If Apple decided to open a pizzeria... I suspect that this would be it (and I'm not just saying that because they use iPads instead of cash registers). Pizzeria Limone combines traditional and modern elements to create a unique and well designed atmosphere. The open space, wood tables, and large map of Italy on the back wall create a connection to a traditional (although likely highly-romanticized) idea of old Italy. Meanwhile, the shiny metal chairs, large bright windows, popular music, and clean graphic design gives the overall experience a modern twist. The food itself, consists of artisan pizzas, unique salads, and (of course) tasty gelato! I had the Secco pizza made with the House Marinara, Mozzarella, Salami, and Olives. It was delicious! Not only are the pizzas handmade and cooked in a traditional stone oven (which always does wonders for a pizza's overall flavor), but they are also made with quality ingredients! The mozzarella and salami were tasty and the olives? Legit, kalamata olives! So Yummy! (The Gelato was pretty good too!) The prices are good too. It was $6-8 for a single 8" pizza (The Secco was about $7.25) and you definitely don't wait too long for your pizza to come out (their Facebook page claims: "We've Taken Fast Casual To A Whole New Level!" and I kind of think they have). Finally, the employees were friendly (and quick/efficient, especially considering the fact that the place had only been open for a day when I ate there). They seemed particularly excited about the restaurant having one of those new soda machines (you know the new ones that have about 120+ flavors of soda and only one soda/ice spout). I will definitely be eating here again.

Decided to try this new spot today. It's a nice atmosphere, clean and friendly staff. I had the Secco pizza. It's made right in front of you and all the ingredients look fresh. My pizza was $7.95 and I think the value is so-so. I wanted extra tomatoes on it and was told it's $1.95 for any extra toppings. Really? An additional 25% for a few tomatoes? That's outrageous!!! Pizza was good, toppings seem fresh. There was just enough sauce on it for me. I hate pizzas that have so much sauce it just drips right off. This one was perfect. Not enough cheese though. I don't mean it has to be ooey gooey, but a bit of cheese in every bite would be nice. Pizzas are cooked in a large oven and mine was burned on the edges. Not just brown-crispy but black burned. Left a lot fo it on my plate. The major drawback is the noise. The place was not even half full and it was so loud my head hurt. The pizza makers would shout the orders to each other even though they are standing side by side. With the way the place is built, all noise echos. So there was the employee noise and customer noise. If you're looking for a place for conversation, this is not it. Overall: Good food, but a bit pricy for me especially if you want a little extra. I advise Take out unless you're OK with shouting to your table mates.

Pizzeria Limone is definitely a solid lunch spot. They've got respectable Settebello-ish pizzas, with a more cafeteria-style setup. For me, it's nice to be able to get this type of pizza without the drive downtown, and without having to worry that my little kids are annoying other diners. We got both the Caprese Pizza and the Italiano salad. The pizza was delicious--nice chewy crust, and there's nothing more delicious than fresh tomatoes thrown on an already cooked pizza *drool*. But the salad was the clear winner, and next time I go, that will probably be all I get. I'll just have to remember to read the entire ingredients list next time and request no beets--(seriously, whoever decided that those nasty things are food?!?)

My second visit. This place is great. They may need some help behind the counter during the busy hours of the day, but the pizzas are delicious. Had the Pera with prosciutto and pears, the margherita which was delicious, and the tre sorelle which was also very nice. I'll be back for sure.

Quick-service gourmet Neapolitan-style pizza? Yum! I'd say Pizzeria Limone is just a tad bit less in quality than Settebello in downtown Salt Lake, but to save the hassle of the wait and trying to park and fighting traffic? I'd choose Pizzeria Limone almost every time! We had their Viola with house marinara, prosciutto, blackberries, five cheeses, pistachios, and basil. Yum! I never would have thought of putting blackberries or pistachios on pizza, but wow! We also tried their Zuppa soup, which is house fire roasted tomato, mozzarella, creme fraiche, pistachios, and basil. As far as soups go, it was tasty and good for dipping our crusts in, but nothing I'd order again. One of the other biggest selling points for me is always a Coke Freestyle machine. Sometimes I choose my dining establishment for the lone purpose of having a Raspberry Diet Coke. Pathetic, but true. The facility was very clean and orderly, with the staff being very helpful and patient with us in placing our order. Around 9pm, there was nary a soul there, yet the staff continued to clean each table and their assembly stations. I'm all about clean. We can't wait to go back and try the other specialty, Neapolitan style pizza!

Yummers! Had my first Limone pizza today, and can I say......A....maze....balls!!!! I loved this crust and the sauce was awesome. I had the salami and olive pizza, and the side tre sorelle salad. The lemon vinaigrette was lip smacking good. I ended the meal with the yummy chocolate gelato, but I stole a bite of my friends lemon gelato and that was also super tasty!! I will be there again soon. I already have a craving for more! BTW: I love the large map and super clean look! Bella

Wow, amazing quality and I got a ton for the cost with a regular pizza, kid's cheese pizza that wasn't actually smaller, just cheaper, and an antipasto appetizer. The pizza we got was Viola, it had superb toppings of blackberry, an italian ham, and few other things.

    (5)
  • Rina S.

This used to be my favorite pizza place and I would go on a regular basis. However I've noticed that the toppings were getting skimpier and skimpier and there's about a third of the crust with no toppings. That's not the pizza I used to get. Am I the only one who's noticed this? I've started to go to Zilio's pizza in Sandy which is similar but a better deal - $6.50 a pizza (though it's smaller.)

    (3)
  • Heather S.

The viola pizza was a symphony of flavors. The sweet/tart flavor of blackberries was a great complement to the savory elements of the pizza. I definitely enjoyed it! However, I'm saucy, so a little heavier hand would've suited me well. Nick took our orders and was both friendly and funny. There's also a magic coke machine here. Every restaurant with one of these automatically earns an extra star in my book. Who doesn't enjoy having hundreds of drink options? Nobody, that's who!!!

I would love to rate this place 5 stars but I can't. I have dined here several times and every time I go the pizza is delicious! However, the service... Well that's another story. Staff is friendly but very unorganized. I always receive the wrong pizza, or my order seems to get lost in the mix somewhere. I've met the owner's wife and she is so pleasant and apologetic. But this place needs to get their stuff together. Today I called to place a take out order and waited on hold for about 7 minutes. I hung up and called back and they said "sorry. I forgot you were holding." Bad service! But yummy pizza!

This place is awesome! We had a caprese salad and caprese pizza (a theme going on here), and both were unique and delicious. The pistachios on the caprese salad are a nice touch and the thicker balsamic dressing is tasty and doesn't run off everything onto the plate. The crust, flavor, etc. of the pizza was excellent. The lemon/chocolate brownie was the crowning highlight. Can't wait to go back!

The BEST THING about this place is the staff: super enthusiastic, they'll kill you with kindness, but it's not enough to make up for organizational failure. FOR GOD'S SAKE KEEP THE PEEL PADDLE END UP! It's not a baton! The last thing I want is some tool touching the floor before it graces my food!. A major "DOUBLE YUCK FAIL" in my book. Comparisons to Settabello and 712? DREAM ON! These people are up in the night. Limone isn't even close to playing in the same local, seasonal, slow-food, made-with-love league. Cafe Rio is an apt comparison but sadly PL has stunningly captured all the things that Rio itself suffers for: long lines, loud crowd and a narrow range. Our food was middling to poor. The thin crust is BLAND and flavorless, made worse by an unholy/uneven burn on one side while undercooked on the other. They've got some cleaver (blackberries) ingredients on the menu. Cheaper than fig and tasty when not sour. Available (frozen) year round... um... doused in sugar... sorry... that's 2 strikes. I'm willing to search far and wide for a classic fig & prosciutto pie. Side salads... they're BASIC. Nothing too difficult, but here's another failure to deliver. PL is not geared to give you the salad before the pizza. We waited for both. Decor is trendy with clean lines and colors but loud isn't chic. Its obnoxious. The flow lends itself to traffic jams and confusion. I'm willing to bus my own table depending on the circumstance but at these prices I would expect not. The space looks pretty but ergonomics suffer madly. They've surely had plenty of time to work some kinks out. Sadly, it seems they have little intention of doing so anytime soon. Just cuz PL is busy and pricey does not mean its good. ~m

Great lunch spot. Pizza is solid. I've tried three kinds now: caprese, viola, and salsiccia (sp?). Viola is my fave...don't let the blackberries scare you off. Little disappointed in the service the second visit when our soup and antipasti arrived after our entree and only after returning to the counter to ask for them. There were also 80% empty tables after the lunch rush needing to be cleaned, leaving us only a table in the corner by the cold door. The staff was standing around chatting so it's not like they were too busy to bus tables either. Overall a good addition to the Ft Union restaurant scene.

This is a great pizza. Interesting flavors (think blackberries, lemons, prosciutto, etc) that will get you out of boring pepperoni or Hawaiian land. Prices are in the upscale fast food rang ($7 for a pizza, which feeds one hungry person). Tomato soup wasn't bad either.

Food was pretty good- I had the caprese pizza and a Caesar salad- both were fantastic. The cheese bread was a little bland and the $1.50 for a little cup of sauce was a little ridiculous. The service was not great- definitely lacking. I will likely go back because of the food- not the service.

You walk in, go up to a kid with a bunch of pizza dough in front of him, and you're wondering how this place works, and you tell him what kind of pizza you'd like. Then you go to the end of the counter and repeat your order to the girl at the register so that she can take (lots of) your money. The place is loud. It was about half full when we went and just really, really loud. I feel like if I am eating pizza somewhere that I kind of can't focus on my own conversation, I need there to be booze and probably dancing involved. I had the Viola pizza, and the blackberries on it were the highlight of my visit. The prosciutto was too thick and too dry and too salty and there was just plain too much of it on there. If I were to ever order it again, I would ask them to put half the regular amount of prosciutto and double the blackberries. That brings me back to my former question: How does this place work? Am I supposed to stand there while they make my pizza like at a sandwich shop? Or am I supposed to keep going? And if I am supposed to keep going, why do they have the prep bar set up like a sandwich shop? The food was good. The value was kind of ridiculously low, in my opinion. A previous reviewer stated prices at 6-8 dollars per pizza but forgot the ".95" ... They are actually really 7-9 dollars. Add $2 for a soda (they do have the ultrafancy Coke robot machine) and if you like a little vegetation, tack on another $3 for a side salad. All in all, a good place although they have a few kinks to work out for sure, which as a new place is the norm, but overall it's not a bad place. Not one that will be in my regular rotation [because I like pizza with salad and a soda, you know, like a full meal, and I refuse to spend $14 on food just for me at a "fast casual" establishment] which kind of bums me out considering it's close to home.

Great concept restaurant. I love how the pizza are ready to order. The toppings and sauces are unique and very tasty. The ambiance is great as well for small or large groups. Comparison to Settebello is warranted. The taste is not quite as good as Settebello (but close) but it's way better in terms of value. I would much rather visit Limone over Settebello.

Pizzeria Limone is no buono. I use the Margherita Pizza to compare all pizza joints because it is my Golden Standard and if you can't get the Margh right, well then you're out. Basically, The pie had no flavor. I had to keep dumping red pepper on it to get a little taste of something. It's unfortunate because there's a cool industrial atmosphere here and you can watch them make your pizza with fresh ingredients in front of you as you wait to pay at the counter. They also have the dough and crust right, which again is disappointing because the rest of it was tasteless. My side salad, the Tre Sorelle, was good and I'd recommend that it you had to come here.

Decided to try Pizzeria Limone for the first time today, and this is my new favorite place for pizza. Ingredients are very fresh and the pizza is delicious. The only gripe we had were the semi burnt edges around the crust, this seems to be a result of the flash cooking. Try the Limone gelato this stuff is AMAZING! I thought the prices were very fair for what you end up with (about $10-12 per person). I will definitely be back.

Its new so it has a few bugs to work out and heres my list of the top three... 1 I understand the work ethic of "we all do everything here" but I DO NOT want to see the guy that made my pizza come out and clean the floor/tables. It just makes me wonder if he was cleaning the toilet before I walked in. Of course Im sure they have proper hygiene practices but its just the point of the matter. I think most people would agree... 2 They use a rotating flash cooking oven to bake their pizzas. Whats great about this is that you get a fresh baked pie FAST. Whats bad about it is that the center of the oven must be hotter than the outside and every pie (3) that was ordered by my group had one edge that was slightly charred. Looking around I noticed most others seated near me were the same.. that needs to be fixed... 3 They take your order and make it fresh in front of you ( envision a Subway sandwich shop style set up) but I and the others in my group didnt know if we were to watch them or go down the line and pay or what. It was just a bit confusing and being a new place I think it would be a good idea if for now the cooks explained how it worked. I think once a few people catch on those like me that didnt know would just follow the leader and not be as confused. The pies themselves were tasty and as I said freshly made. The marinara was particularly good as it was a bit hearty and not super tomato-ey like a regular marinara. All of my "fresh" topping were indeed fresh and yummy. The decor is a bit minimal which is fine however the minimalist decor coupled with a cavernous ceiling made for a very loud establishment. Not an intimate place in the least.. more loud buddy lunch than "hey lets go talk about the day" dinner. Also the mix of rustic wood with sleek metal and faux stone tabletops was interesting. Speaking of rustic wood how long until those cracks and crevasses are filled with caked food? The menu ranges from 7-9 dollars for a "personal" ( dinner plate size) pizza. Everything else is extra dinner/side salad and drinks. They need to add some type of combo in my opinion. The childrens menu is the two basics, pepperoni and cheese which is good enough. Odd though they they do not have a cheese option in the larger pizzas. Overall I think its ok for a quick business lunch if youre in the area but the louder atmosphere may deter me from returning at night. Impressive if youve never been to other similar pizza places (of which there are few in SLC so it may get by on that alone) For the money Id rather drive a bit further to our favorite spot where I can get two slices, salad, and drink for a dollar or two less.

Thankfully a new good place to eat in Midvale. Some of the highlights: - A fun menu. It was nice to have some new pizza options, particularly of the vegetarian variety. I had the Caprese pizza, and it was a delight- the basalmic vinegar smelled of heaven. -A fun design. It was a nice, clean environment but when the kids were getting restless as the end, we didn't have to worry about them breaking anything. -No waiters or waitresses. Why do I love this? Because it's cheaper and I love me some "cheaper". The only things that were a little annoying was a super slippery floor- I nearly slipped a couple of times and our wooden table was warped and the kid's water fell right off. Other than that, it was a delight and I'm sure we'll be eating there frequently.

As I was eating my personal pizza (which took 25 minutes to prepare, apparently), I watched the owner act so rudely that he put one of his employees into tears. He then walked to tables (including ours) and treated customers to something he doesn't give employees: respect. I'll never go back...not because of the food, but because of the owner's philosophy on which humans deserve basic respect.

FABULOUS, fresh, delicious ingredients, but they're very STINGY with the toppings. For example, if fresh basil is an ingredient, you'll be lucky to get ONE leaf, torn into 4 pieces, over the entire pizza....REALLY?! So the next time, I asked them to "please be generous with the toppings." They threw on a bunch of ham, & then charged me extra, on top of the already high prices. I wouldn't mind paying the price, if I could GET the ingredients listed on the menu. Atmosphere is TERRIBLE...yelling, & loud, loud, loud...turn your hearing aid on high!

This is my new favorite place for pizza. My boyfriend and I split the Limone pizza -- so different and so good! It has lemons and red onions on it; sounds strange but it is beyond delicious! I don't normally like onions on my pizza because of the texture, but they were so thinly sliced i wasn't bothered and they enhanced the flavor a lot. Lemons on pizza sounds crazy, but I'm a lemon fanatic so I decided to give it a go. They were also sliced so that they were barely there, but added a wonderful kick. LOVED IT. They have a fancy drink machine which I greatly enjoyed. Not really sure how to explain it. It had a touch screen and a ton of choices-- it's just fun. I got peach fanta -- SO good. Also loved the brownies -- yummy chocolate moist brownie with a light lemon cream frosting and covered in chocolate ganache. I need to find a recipe for these so that I can eat them all the time. Amazing. The cons : The man who took our order could hardly understand us, and I could definitely not understand him. We ordered a soup that I understood from the menu to be a cheesy creamy soup. I asked him about it, and it sounded like I was right, but I wasn't. It was some sort of broth with some cheese on the bottom and I did not like it at all. In the future I will skip the soup and stick to my pizza and brownie.

Love the food - the viola and caprese salad are my favorites. I would have given 5 stars, but the two girls who run the register are not the greatest in terms of service. Last time I went I was helped by a lady and she was awesome. The younger girls just don't seem to care and never smile :(

Great pizza. The blackberry prosciutto combo is surprisingly out of control delicious. Consistent with other yelpers, this is a great concept pizza joint that should be on the fast track toward rapid expansion. Well done!

Folks, this is some good pizza. Think Chipotle for Pizza... They make the pizza right in front of you with fresh delicious ingredients and throw it in the stone fire oven. After they take your order on an iPad, yes an iPad you sit down and a few minutes later out comes some dang good pizza. The salads are really good, and the flat bread called some funny name I can't think of at the moment are drop dead amazing. You need to try this place! Great, now I'm drooling over the thought of this pizza.

First impression: clean place, concise branding, lots of seating. Now onto the food. I ordered the Caprese pizza, it was beyond amazing! If you like greasy, cheese-laden pizza this is not the place for you. The crust was crisp and chewy at the same time. The toppings were fresh and light. The cheese was amazingly tasty but not overpowering. All in all, a fantastic meal! Our only complaint was that the tables were really close together, making the restaurant a bit difficult to navigate.

This is our new favorite pizza place! The pizza tastes great and is prepared so quickly, I could hardly believe it the first time we visited. The speed is the #1 reason we keep coming back with our young kids. In and out in no time. My one complaint: they do not recycle. They serve their salads in plastic containers, offer plastic utensils, and sell canned beverages. Recycling would make a lot of sense here.

The pizza is a big step above the national chains. The place is best for a simple quick meal. Crowds can have a major impact on service. Thought I had beat the rush (6:30) on a Friday night...but they had serious trouble filling my order. Got the pizza right...delicious. But forgot the soup. (Only fair.) And forgot the Caesar salad (which was just romaine overly drenched in a mediocre dressing). But...go for the pizza.

This is definitely one of mine and my Hubby's favorite places to eat! The pizza is delicious and just the right portion size. I don't eat meat while my husband devours the stuff, so it's the perfect place for us to get a meal together! We both really enjoy the Caprese and Limone pizzas and we always split a Crosta w/ marinara sauce. Their soup and ceasar side salad are also delicious. The only minor thing is, every time we go in the staff seems more concerned about wiping counters, moping the floor and straightening up than providing service. I know it seems silly to complain about people cleaning, but they do it in such an OCD way every time we visit (which is quite often), it gets a little annoying. But the food is a 10 and definitely worth the visit!

The worst part for me is I live in Ca. Pizzeria Limone always my 1st stop when I get there and the last stop before I leave. I ordered a crosta to take home. 2 days later I ate it. It wasn't crisp as if it were fresh but delicious non the less! Love the brownies. Hard to name my favorite..I think the Pizza Limone is right @ the top. The crust on these pizzas is like no other. Crisp and flavorful. The lemon gelato is really good. After a year I still say this is my favorite part about coming to Salt lake. The decor is great. I must say the striped wall art is beyond fabulous!!! Love Love this place

Good Italian style pizza that is not a chain. The menu has a wide variety of pizza and they are fresh and fast. Because it is so new there is usually a line on Friday night, but that should calm down soon. The prices are kinda high, but that's normal for non-chain SLC restaurants. I would go back again and try a few different pizzas. I also can't wait to get take out pizza and enjoy something tasty for a night in. I hope this place does well and stays in the neighborhood.

Very familiar scene at PL. Looks a lot like a Barbacoa when you walk in. Short menu with a good selection of pizzas and salads. We had the Secco and Limone, as well as an Italian salad. Service was very friendly and fast. I was actually surprised at how fast the pizzas were ready. However, after taking my first bite, I immediately knew how. Their pizza is one of, if not the, lightest and best crusts around. After a two and a half week trip in Italy and Sardinia, this pizza is the first to bring back those memories. The only thing lacking is beer and wine. A nice 1/2 carafe of a house red with this meal would be the final star. Sounds like they are trying to get the license, but a nearby restaurant has the last one available for a while. I'll keep coming though!

I went in tonight to place a to-go order and walked out without any pizza and with a bad taste in my mouth. After waiting for 25 minutes in line I noticed that they had a "Take-Out and Deserts" counter so I jumped out of line and walked over to that counter. I told the cashier that I wanted to place a take-out order and she replied that I needed to call in and that they normally don't take orders at this counter. I looked at her quizzingly and she said, "Well I can do it this time." Wow, thanks. So I placed my order for 2 pizzas and a crosta and just as she ran my card the "chef" walked up and and said, "oh, this is a new order? I can't get to it for 45 minutes to an hour." I asked why it would take so long and he said because of all of the customers placing orders to dine in. "Huh?" shouldn't you make a pizza in the order it was received? My wife and I have eaten here many times and the pizza is good, but not worth the sh*tty customer service.
